John has been a Stevedoring Operations Manager working in Nelson/Vancouver from 1999 through to 2021.

With the sad and untimely passing of John’s friend and mentor Mr Robert Kay, John purchased Nelson Shipping Agencies with the blessing of Robert’s family, establishing Nelson Shipping Agencies 2021 Ltd.

John’s involvement in the Nelson shipping scene is extensive and he has gained many friends and allies.
